Boeing 777 software unsafe says FAA
Philadelphia News.Net Wednesday 17th March, 2010
The Federal Aviation Administration in the US has ordered Boeing to fix software in hundreds of 777 aircraft.
The FAA said on Tuesday that software that could cause planes to overrun the runway needed to be fixed in about 820 planes.
During aborted takeoffs in January this year, the software malfunctioned, causing the autopilot to come on, lowering the speed of the plane.
Had takeoff been maintained at that speed, the plane would not have been able to adequately clear obstacles on the ground. Email this story to a friend

China and Russia, listen up!
The Ptech trojan horse firmware are already implanted into the circuitries of the commercial planes from Airbus and Boeing. We don’t know so much about the planes produced by Russian aircraft makers.
But what this means is that THEY (you know by now who we are referring to) can override the pilots' control (sitting helplessly) in the cockpits by messing up these planes' computers to do crazy things including CRASH the planes if they want to. That’s why we see so many unexplained crashes.
So, next time when you have important people flying then think twice!

All they have to do is send control signals to the computers in the cockpit from satellites!

That’s good, at least Boeing’s software and hardware quality-control (QC) has found all the bugs to Boeing’s 777. The test engineers be patient to randomly touch each key-function is the BEST security to fly the jet’s software. To run on Auto-pilot software, be sure the “interrupt” on-and-off routines are correct (timing) to execution. Very well, keep up the GOOD WORKS !
