China attempts to draw in IPO offerings

China is hoping foreign-funded firms will make public share offerings in China.

Senior officials from the Economics Ministry have said they will work to improve policies to actively guide high-quality foreign firms into making IPOs in China.

The ministry has been studying IPO floats in other countries to understand and encourage inflows of foreign direct investment.
