Wednesday's Injury Report
Pro Bowl left guard Landon Dickerson was sidelined briefly on Monday night against the Los Angeles Chargers due to a calf injury. Despite missing 12 offensive snaps in the overtime battle, Dickerson would have practiced for the Eagles on Wednesday as a limited participant.
The team held a walkthrough on Wednesday, so the injury report is an estimation.
While there's good news regarding Dickerson, All-Pro right tackle Lane Johnson remains sidelined with a foot injury. He would not have practiced on Wednesday. Johnson suffered the injury in the Week 11 win over Detroit. Fred Johnson replaced Lane Johnson against the Lions and has started the last three games.
Defensive tackle Jalen Carter would have been the only other Eagle on the active roster to miss practice on Wednesday. Carter is sidelined with injuries to both shoulders. He did not play on Monday night against the Chargers. The Eagles opened against Los Angeles with a four-man front, anchored by Jordan Davis and Moro Ojomo in the middle at defensive tackle. Byron Young played 32 snaps on Monday night, one week after a season-high 38, to help pick up the slack in Carter's absence.
The Eagles opened long snapper Charley Hughlett's21-day practice window on Wednesday. Hughlett has not played since the Week 4 win over the Buccaneers due to an abdominal injury. He would have been a full participant. The Eagles waived Hughlett's replacement Cal Adomitis on Tuesday.
Rookie offensive tackle Myles Hinton's 21-day practice window expired, so he will remain on Injured Reserve for the rest of the year with a back injury.
